As I watched the movie on Mr. Goldsworthy, I noticed he likes to "work with nature"; Altering the landscape to his liking. He changes the landscape mostly into either a circle pattern (like above) or a wavy, river like pattern. Why? I wish I knew. I'm assuming that those patterns spark intrest and/or inspiration for his work. This picture is well construced: light balance is good, Contrast is good (dark green brings out yellow's lightness), the angle from which this picture is taken is excellent (the bushell of flowers takes up the entire area of the portrait). My Fav Abstract
This picture is a great example of abstract photography. Everything is warped and/or distorted; nothing can really be identified or recognized. Surpizingly, I did not use the warp tool. Then how can the picture be warped? Easy: take a circular glass, and place it in front of your camara lens. What did I do in photoshop? I cropped it, and made one area a little bit lighter.

Fav Macro Pic
This is my favorite "Macro Mode" pic. Why? This pic took me at least half an hour, if not longer, to set this scene up and also since it is bright, and appealing to the eye. The one thing that I changed/added was blackening the upper corners, since the black shirt wasn't big enough to cover the entire photo-shooting area. Can you tell? I can barely tell, and I even did the photo shop "paint job". Otherwise, it's a very succesful picture. It's also a strong composition since each coin is placed percisely, and delicately to form a perfect silver pyramid, with a gold coin arch above it. the coins are glimmering in the incandesent light like a diamond.--Don't you think it's successful? Or would you beg to differ?--
**FUN FACT: the coins in this scene aren't currency, they're slot machine tokens for the slot machine that I own!!**

This is my version of Jan Groover's picture of the pot, green pepper, and the utencils. There are a couple of differences. One; the size of the pots are different. Two; the subject matter is different (banana & pepper & eggplant). I don't have the same amount of utencils, but the type of subject matter is the same. This picture, before photoshop, was incredibly bright and almost hard to look at. But photoshop worked it's magic, and I lowered the intensity. But I brightend the interior of the pot, since it was kind of hard to see with the bright background.**What would you do differently?**
This Picture is a little different than Jan Groover's picture. We both have the same subject matter (eating utencils) but i have one less than hers. My subject matter is placed randomly just like hers. But our lighting is a little diferent. Too compensate for that I darkened the back ground to make it nearly identical. I selected the upper background and darkened it by 12 spaces. Jan Groover put her subject matter on a chrome/mirrored surface, most likely to give a different look/appeal, as well as different light directions.**Should I have matched the background and/or subjetc matter?**

This Picture of Mine is quite similar to the Gretchen Garner picture of the rock in the grass. The color of the rock is similar towards Miss Gretchen's. I placed twigs around the rock, to compare it similarity towards Gretchen Garner's picture. The only major difference between the two is the season the picture was taken in. Min in winter, hers in the summer. My picture was a little darker, but I was able to brighten up the rock by using the "magic wand" tool, and the hue tool. Thus making the rock as bright as the one in Miss. Garner's picture.
**Should I have used a light source? Flash? Sun light? **

This Picture is quite similar to Gretchen garner's picture of the church in between the two trees. The lighting is similar since the sun light in both pictures are angled. Gretchen Garner's Picture was taken in the morning, while mine was taken in the afternoo. Also, there is a morning fog in Gretchen Garner's picture. But in my picture, there is no morning fog, I got a little help from photoshop. I selected the trees to make them more in focus, by giving back the original color from the original picture. The houses in the background are in a haze; I put a mask over the entire picture besides the trees (obviously), and set the color to white.
**Do you guys think that the two trees in mine are too dark?**

Digital Montage #2

The focal point of the violent picture you see above, is Waldo. I removed the lower half of his body and placed him in the shark's mouth. And I scaled him down to his teeny, tiny, usual size; like in the books & video games.
--Why would I do this to a legend like Waldo? Here's the story why: when I was a little kid, I used to play the Video Game, or look in the book, I could never find the little Jerk! (LOL) I never found him once! If you ever found him, even just once, post a comment, and whether you used the video game or the book, & how long it took you.--
I unified Waldo with the lips of the shark's mouth by finding the right curve with Waldo's waist and the curve of the shark's mouth. I changed the value of Waldo's brown brown hair from several different shades, to one shade of pure brown. I also did the same thing with is skin color, eyes, mouth and the shark's eye. I found the perfect shade of pink for his tounge (dead cartoon characters always have their tounge out when they die LOL).
I wanted to continue the break of real life and cartoons in this portrait. For most people, when they see a cartoon in a real life setting it's kind of a shocker. (Waldo is also shocked! LOL) because you would think that I would put another real life photo within this, but no. I want the viewer to have that shock/surprise.
Digital Montage #1

The picture of Homer Simpson in Times Square, N.Y.C., NY, is unique. I wanted to break the barrier of real life and cartoon life, by combining the two. Homer is palced in the forground of the picture, he's not dead center, making him even more noticeable. I united Homer with the real world by scaling him down to size (edit, transform, scale), so he can blend in with the real people around him.I also changed the brightness and the hue of his clothes and skin, he was quite bright before, but I "dulled'' him down a bit, to coexist with the other colors in the real world. But Idid brighten up the cross walk and street signs, as well as the Verizon wireless check mark. (top left, on skyscraper). The two images are Times Square, and Homer Simpson. I changed the color value of the "One Way" sign, (Mid-right) and I obviously changed the color value of Homer. I don't know the date of the picture of Times Square, nor Homer. Homer seems to be mad for some reason, mainly because he has his arms crossed. I conveyed my mood (humor/enjoyment) successfully by mixing Homer Simpson in a chaotic situation. When I saw the picture of Times Square, a light bulb lit up in my head, which lead to this comical result
